What documents do I need to bring to register my motor vehicle?
You can now renew you motor vehicle or trailer registration online, through Rapid Renewal! You can also renew your registration at the Town Office.
To calculate your excise amount, please visit the Maine Revenue Website by clicking here. Please be aware there are additional fees in addition to the excise tax.

Title Information:
Vehicles that are 25 model years and newer are required to have a title in the State of Maine. As of January 1, 2024, vehicles that are 1998 model year and older are title exempt.

Titles are issued for the following types of vehicles:
- All motor vehicles except special mobile equipment;
- Trailers over 3,000 lbs. (unladen weight)
- Motorcycles with engines 300 CC and over
